Job summary

ComForCare is seeking reliable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to serve Salem County including Pennsville, Salem, Woodstown and surrounding areas. Immediate cases available with flexible schedules and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities focus on companionship and non-medical support: light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, transportation, and activity engagement while ensuring client well-being and reporting changes to the Agency Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• A caring, patient, and mature demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provide engaging companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home environment.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with running errands and grocery shopping.
• Provide transportation for appointments and social outings.
• Offer medication reminders (not administration).
• Engage clients in activities such as hobbies, reading, puzzles, and walks.
• Observe and report changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Agency Manager.
