Job summary

RISE Community Services is seeking a part-time Transportation Driver to safely transport individuals with disabilities using our vehicles. You’ll follow scheduled routes, assist riders entering and exiting, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks.

You will build respectful relationships with riders and coordinate calmly when plans change. Applicants must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and obtain a Missouri Class E license within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Able to obtain Missouri Class E license within 14 days of hire.
• Comfortable driving passenger vans and assisting passengers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals with disabilities in RIS E vehicles.
• Follow scheduled routes and help passengers arrive on time.
• Assist individuals with entering and exiting vehicles.
• Build positive, professional relationships with riders.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and keep vehicles clean.
• Document mileage, incidents, and vehicle needs.
• Respond calmly to plan changes or unexpected situations.
