Job summary

Community Connections Inc. is seeking a dedicated Van Driver in Fairhaven, MA to safely transport individuals on a daily route.

You will assist passengers in boarding, provide curb-to-curb service, and perform pre-route vehicle safety checks while ensuring a supportive, respectful experience for people with disabilities. Requirements include a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, 2+ years of licensed driving, and a willingness to work part-time with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2+ years licensed driving experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe daily transportation of individuals on route.
• Assist individuals entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Provide curb to curb service in a professional, safe and courteous manner.
• Conduct and document vehicle safety check prior to each route.
• Monitor the behavior and/or medical condition of individuals with disabilities during daily transport.
• Report and record all incidents to the Transportation Manager.
