Job summary

Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center in Fairport, NY is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on resident care under licensed staff supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, record vital signs, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York State.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependability, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents under licensed staff supervision.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Help residents with meals, mobility, transfers and positioning as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
• Obtain and record vital signs and other observations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence and well-being.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.
