Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System in Harlingen, TX, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living and support nursing staff in a dynamic hospital setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a state/national CNA or related certification; CPR/BLS. Prior hospital experience is preferred; sign-on bonus may be offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current state or national nurse's aide certification or related certification is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required via American Heart Association.
• Preferred: 1 year hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and intermediate nursing care under supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and documentation.
• Care for patients across units as assigned by the supervising nurse.
