Job summary

Liberty Commons of Alamance County is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, hygiene, and documentation. The role emphasizes compassionate geriatric care and adherence to DFS registry requirements, with opportunities to collaborate with nursing staff on patient needs.

The position requires 18+ years old, a valid CNA credential, and willingness to participate in in-service trainings and team meetings, with a supportive, patient-centered workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
