Alamance House in Alamance County seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents and support the nursing team in maintaining health and well‑being. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and promote resident dignity and independence.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for caregiving. State‑approved CNA training and active CNA certification are essential, CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• State-approved CNA training program completed.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare, senior living, or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Active CNA certification in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist with medication reminders under supervision of licensed staff.
