Job summary

The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Rockwell, NC. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and support the nursing team in maintaining residents’ well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a patient, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare/senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutrition needs.
• Foster companionship and encourage participation in activities for social well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
