Job summary

The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center in Rockwell, NC invites applications for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA). You will provide direct care, assist with ADLs, support residents' independence, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Observe health changes and report to the nursing team; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Foster companionship and engagement in community activities and events.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and follow infection control protocols.
