Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring waste areas are clean and organized.
• Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages or issues.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic environment for residents and staff.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
