Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate daily care to residents in Westminster, Maryland. You will work under the nurse manager, assist with activities of daily living, meals, bathing, and mobility, and support memory care, assisted living, or skilled nursing settings as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Completion and passing the Nursing Assistant program in the State is required.
• Must be listed on the state's Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager; may take direction from licensed nurses or supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignments.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, and transfers.
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner; light housekeeping and linen changes.
• Assists with resident laundry and sorts/marks clothing; notifies supervisor of needs.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding.
• May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.

Education

High School diploma or the equivalent

Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State
