Job summary

All American Assisted Living at Washington Township is seeking a dedicated CNA/PCA to provide compassionate personal care to residents in a New Jersey community setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, dining, and social engagement while following individualized care plans and infection-control procedures.

The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and high-quality resident interactions within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing, to understand care instructions and document services.
• Strong observation and interpersonal skills for resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, respectful personal care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers per service plans.
• Safely use mobility equipment after training and competency validation.
• Provide meal assistance and dining support as needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support; encourage participation in meals and activities.
• Promptly report changes to licensed staff and follow care plans and safety procedures.
• Document care accurately and maintain clean, safe living areas.
• Complete required orientation, training, and competency reviews.
