Elizabeth Nursing & Rehab Center in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will provide essential care, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and report changes to licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Current New Jersey CNA license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and genuinely cares for elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, including transferring and repositioning residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Support residents' emotional and social needs by building positive, respectful relationships.
• Ensure proper documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy guidelines at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
