Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in Overland Park, KS. The role includes medication assistance, personal care, and adherence to service plans.

Responsibilities include meal support, housekeeping, activity participation, and emergency response while following infection control guidelines. Requires CNA certification and current CPR/First Aid/AED credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification valid in this state.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Reviews resident Service Plans to gain familiarity with resident service needs and preferences.
• Reviews the Staff Communication log and resident Service Notes for changes in health conditions.
• Provides personal services to residents as assigned and per Service Plans.
• Helps residents with medications and/or treatments as indicated in the medication book and per regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and follows infection control procedures.
• Assists with meals, dining room setup, service, and cleanup.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment via housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Supports resident activities and encourages participation in social/recreational events.
