Job summary

Good Samaritan in Atwood, KS is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs under RN supervision, and help ensure a positive and safe living environment.

The role requires CNA certification, 18+ years of age, and 3+ months LTC experience if possible. Travel to nearby locations within 75 miles and a minimum 30 hours per month are expected.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board, or enrolled to obtain within four months.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• 3+ months of long-term care experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 75-mile radius of permanent address.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Assist with vital signs, transfers and range-of-motion exercises as directed by the RN.
• Support meal service and dining experiences for residents.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and follow PPE guidelines.
