Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver in Martinsburg, WV to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. You will work as part of a dedicated nursing team, documenting observations in daily logs.

The role supports residents’ independence, conducts activities, reports incidents, maintains confidentiality, helps with meals, mobility, transfers, and ensures safety during emergencies. Must be able to lift and move residents safely.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Contributing member of nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time; lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Report incidents and document in appropriate logs.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Help residents to/from dining and activities; ensure safety in transfers.
