Job summary

Northwest Florida Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily living assistance to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. You will help with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, grooming and mobility, while promoting dignity and comfort on every shift.

You will record residents' activities of daily living, monitor vital signs and weights as directed, and help maintain a clean, safe unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a C.N.A. program from an accredited institution.
• Current C.N.A. license and active certification.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, grooming and ambulation.
• Record residents' activities of daily living and report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Perform vital signs and weight measurements as directed by the licensed nurse.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized unit and environment.
• Support residents and families with care, compassion and excellent customer service.
