Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Skilled Nursing Unit on the full-time day shift. You will provide direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Professionalism, compassion, patience, and commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information as assigned.
• Assist with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and safety.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nurse.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care and other CNA duties.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and safety guidelines.
• Provide respectful care while maintaining patient confidentiality.
