Job summary

Ranch Terrace Skilled Nursing is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents, under the supervision of licensed staff. You will record entries on flow sheets and charts, report changes in residents' conditions promptly, and help with daily activities to keep rooms ready and comfortable.

A valid Oklahoma CNA license is required; 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as CNA in Oklahoma.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care for residents.
• Team player with strong cooperation with staff.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to handle residents with patience and tact.

Responsibilities

• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts clearly.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Report accidents and incidents observed during the shift.
• Prepare resident rooms for admission (beds, tags, kit).
• Make residents comfortable (assist to bed, provide water).
• Inventory and label resident possessions.
• Assist with loading/unloading residents from vehicles.
• Follow policies and procedures as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain teamwork across departments to meet resident needs.
• Help maintain a comfortable, homelike environment.
• Meet with shift nursing staff to identify improvement areas.
• Report complaints and grievances from residents.
• Notify facility if late or absent.
• Report abuse/neglect or fraud to Administrator.
• Ensure computers are logged off when not in use.
