Job summary

The ideal candidate has less than 1 year of CNA experience and will obtain Virginia CNA licensure upon hire, with CPR/BLS and First Aid completed within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Prior Nurse Aide or CNA experience is preferred (less than 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' personal hygiene and care needs, including grooming, dining, mobility, and safety.
• Follow universal precautions, infection control, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to scheduling.
• Participate in care planning, acting as advocate for residents' choices.
• Assist residents with washing, ironing, folding, and sorting personal laundry.
• Maintain clean spaces in the household and assist with meal preparation and service.
• Encourage and facilitate activities and resident engagement.
• Document caregiving, social services, medications, and treatments accurately.
• Support quality improvement processes within the household and ensure follow-up on identified issues.
