Qualifications

• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Preferred).
• Licenses and Certifications: Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification - AHA/ARC/AIHS within 30 Days(Required).
• First Aid - AHA/ARC/AIHS within 30 Days(Required).

Responsibilities

• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety and dignity; follows facility policies.
• Assists with hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents.
• Provides resident care to maintain or improve functional status.
• Documents accurately in EMR related to ADL care, hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
• Follows universal precautions and infection control standards.
