Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: less than 1 year; prior Nurse Aide work experience preferred.
• CNA - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) upon hire (Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification - AHA/ARC/American Safety and Health Institute within 30 days (Required).
• First Aid - AHA/ARC/American Safety and Health Institute within 30 days (Required).

Responsibilities

• Attends to all resident/guest personal hygiene and care needs.
• Organizes supplies necessary to complete tasks.
• Observes residents closely and reports changes to nursing or household leadership.
• Adheres to infection control, sanitation and safety standards.
• Participates in care planning and care conferences.
• Maintains clean spaces and assists with meals and activities.
• Maintains documentation for caregiving, medications, and treatments.
