Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents in accordance with policies and procedures. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and report changes to the charge nurse or supervisor.

The role requires a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license, at least six months of CNA experience (or clinical CNA exposure), and ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Experience as a CNA or clinical CNA exposure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact with residents, families and staff tactfully.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must maintain health and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make rounds and administer quality nursing care at required intervals.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions staff promptly.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and filled and within reach.
• Undertake other duties as directed by supervisors.
