Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will follow established policies and ensure high-quality resident care at all times.

Required CNA license and a minimum of 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA class exposure. English fluency and strong interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during a CNA class.
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• In good health and emotionally stable.
• Able to relate to ill, disabled, elderly and distressed residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled and within reach.
• Other related duties as directed by supervising staff.
