Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care and support to meet physical, social, and emotional needs. You will assist with daily activities, restorative programs, and report changes to the charge nurse to help maintain residents' maximum function.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, charting, safety, and participating in in-services. CNA certification and Indiana 105-hour training are required, with a preferred high school diploma and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 105 hour basic nursing assistant class and be certified.
• Good physical condition, emotional maturity, and able to lift/transfer residents.
• Able to communicate effectively and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Receive and relay information to the charge nurse and shift team.
• Attend to activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, mobility).
• Assist residents with therapies and restorative programs.
• Ensure safety and proper body mechanics during transfers and care.
• Record care provided and report changes in resident condition.
• Participate in ongoing in-services and staff meetings.
