Job summary

Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center in Indiana is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring health, welfare and safety.

You will support hygiene, mobility, meals and comfort, document observations, and follow HIPAA guidelines while maintaining privacy and professional standards; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and nourishment.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bathroom needs.
• Assist with ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; document intake/output.
• Provide resident comfort; answer call lights; report observations.
• Complete required forms, logs and records.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and laws.
• Adhere to professional standards and facility policies.
• Maintain licensure and pursue continuing education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
