Job summary

Vicar's Landing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, dignity-centered environment. You will work closely with nurses and the care team to ensure safe, respectful care and timely communication of changes in residents' condition.

As a CNA, you will document care accurately in EMR, participate in trainings, and contribute to a culture of teamwork and service while maintaining residents' independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and resident-centered care.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and team.
• Accurate documentation following procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care and assistance per individualized care plans.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Support activities of daily living, promoting comfort and independence.
• Observe, document, and communicate changes to the nursing team.
• Complete documentation in EMR and daily flow sheets.
• Assist with meal service and other resident support activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment.
• Participate in training, in-services, and team meetings.
