Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active, unencumbered CNA certification required in the state.
• Long-Term Care experience preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the direction of a nurse according to regulations and facility policy.
• Assist residents with transfers, positioning, bathing, dressing, and activities of daily living; restock rooms and change linen.
• Document and report observations and care delivered to the nursing supervisor promptly.
• Ensure timely nursing interventions and professional, respectful resident interactions.
• Follow facility policies and coordinate with nursing services to ensure quality care.
