Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Katy, TX seeks a compassionate CNA to join our team and provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a nurse. You will transport and transfer residents, assist with daily living activities, document observations, and report to the nursing supervisor promptly, while maintaining dignity and privacy for each resident.

The ideal candidate holds a current Texas CNA certification with at least two years of Long-Term Care experience preferred and is committed to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CNA certification (state)
• Two years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies and procedures, and prudent nursing judgment under the direction of a nurse.
• Perform resident care duties as assigned by charge nurse, including transporting and transferring, restocking resident room, changing linen, positioning, bathing, assisting with eating and hydration, and vital signs.
• Document and report observations and care delivered to residents promptly to the nursing supervisor.
• Ensure nursing interventions are performed in a timely manner.
• Provide care in a professional and courteous manner with dignity and privacy for residents.
• Utilize facility policies and procedures and coordinate with other resident services.
