Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies and procedures, and prudent nursing judgment under the direction of a nurse.
• Perform resident care duties as assigned by charge nurse, including transporting, restocking, changing linen, positioning, bathing, assisting with feeding and hydration, taking vital signs, and other care as directed.
• Document and report observations and care delivered to residents to the nursing supervisor promptly.
• Ensure nursing interventions are performed in a timely manner.
• Provide care in a professional, courteous manner while respecting resident dignity and privacy.
• Know and follow the facility’s written policies and procedures.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services.
