Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care and support in activities of daily living in Bloomfield, Indiana. Qualifikationen

• Must hold a current CNA certification as per state laws.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Aufgaben

• Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene including baths, bedpans/urinals, backrubs, shampooing and shaving; assist with bathroom trips and showers.
• Assist in ambulating, turning and positioning residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; document intake and output information.
• Ensure resident comfort; respond to call lights and requests; report observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Follow professional standards, policies, procedures, and all applicable laws; maintain licensure.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development; perform other duties as assigned.
