Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures, under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.

The successful candidate must hold a valid CNA license, have a minimum of six months CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure, be fluent in English, and demonstrate patience, empathy, and teamwork with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Must maintain good health and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and accessible.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
