Job summary

Indiana Fitness Works Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team at Brooke Knoll Village. The position requires weekend work on an every other weekend rotation and offers shift options including 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am.

Pay range is $17.50/hr to $28/hr, depending on license type, experience, and shift. Overtime available and holiday pay are provided as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or in a State recognized and approved training program to become a CNA.
• Actively on State registry and without any findings.
• If certified in a State other than Indiana, must apply to take Indiana certification exam.
• Must read, write and follow written instructions and document care.
• Must have a current health certificate/examination required by State agencies.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in resident health status to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living per plan of care.
• Document all care and observations.
• Attend required in-service education programs.
• Provide resident hygiene and grooming as instructed.
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Ensure privacy and dignity in all care.
• Record meal intake and monitor appetite and nutrition.
