Indiana Fitness Works in Avon, IN is seeking CNAs to provide direct care to residents. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, bathing, feeding, and mobility support, while documenting care and reporting changes to the nursing staff.

Overtime and weekend shifts are available to meet resident needs. Applicants must be certified or eligible for Indiana CNA certification, maintain state registry status, and pass health requirements.

Qualificações

• Must be certified Nursing Assistant or in a state-recognized training program to become a CNA.
• Active on state registry with no findings.
• If certified outside Indiana, must apply to take applicable Indiana CNA exam.
• Ability to read, write and follow written instructions and document care.
• Must have current health certificate/examination required by State agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and report changes in residents' health status to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living according to plan of care.
• Report to supervisor at start and end of each tour.
• Attend in-service education programs required of CNAs.
• Document all care and observations made.
• Assist with ambulating residents and with transfers.
• Bathe residents and provide baths per policy.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Maintain room cleanliness and infection control procedures.
• Respect resident privacy and dignity.
