Job summary

Indiana Fitness Works Inc. is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join The Belmont Health and Rehabilitation team in Columbus, IN.

The role requires assisting residents with daily living activities, documenting care, and reporting health changes to the Charge Nurse. Applicants must be on the state registry, hold CNA certification (or be in Indiana-approved training), and be able to read/write and follow care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or in an approved training program to become one.
• Active on State registry without findings.
• If certified outside Indiana, must apply to take the Indiana CNA exam.
• Ability to read, write and follow written instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in resident health status to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living per plan of care.
• Attend in-service education programs.
• Document care and observations.
• Ensure infection control procedures are followed.
• Assist with meals and feeding as instructed.
• Provide dignity, respect and compassionate care to residents.
