• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach.
• Provides direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists with bowel and bladder functions and helps prepare for appointments and activities.
• Assists with lifting, positioning and transporting residents safely.
• Provides incontinent care as needed and dresses residents according to weather.
• Notifies Supervisor of changes in residents' conditions.
• Records all care accurately and participates in in-services and staff meetings.
