Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and collaborate with the nursing team under RN supervision, ensuring safety and compassion in care delivery.

The role requires CNA certification and 18+ years of age, with travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing required or in progress within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, dining support.
• Record vital signs and monitor health status as directed.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, ROM exercises, and safety.
• Support wellness and recreational activities and maintain infection prevention practices.
