Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will perform daily living activities under RN supervision, follow care plans, and contribute to a compassionate Christian environment.

The role requires CNA certification, 18+ years old, and provides premium pay and weekend differentials. Travel to nearby locations within 75 miles may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into position.
• QMAP certification may be required depending on facility.
• Minimum 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• Possible UAP Registry in applicable states.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with MRT and license proof.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with activities per care plan under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing for residents.
• Record vital signs and document care provided.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals and dining; ensure a positive dining experience.
• Communicate resident condition changes to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness and recreational programs; participate in committees as needed.
