Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND seeks a Nursing Assistant (PRN) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA works under supervision of an RN, helping with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility while maintaining infection control practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have or be eligible for CNA certification.
• Be enrolled in a CNA training program or in process of certification within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility exercises, and walking with proper technique.
• Support meals, hydration, and dining experiences for residents.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs as needed.
