Wesleyan Assisted Living in Georgetown, TX is seeking a CNA or non-certified Nurse Aide for PRN or as-needed shifts within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Qualifications

• Must possess current, active Nurse Aide Certificate from Texas Department of Health.
• Must be in good physical and mental condition and willing to work with the aged population.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm and be able to handle residents with varying needs.
• Must have the ability to read and write English clearly and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nursing Aide procedures as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Conduct resident rounds with oncoming/outgoing shift.
• Identify resident problems and report to a licensed nurse.
• Complete assignments timely, completely and accurately within the shift.
• Deliver direct care to residents and assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and vital signs.
• Record care provided to residents accurately and timely.
• Observe infection control procedures relating to nursing.
• Work cooperatively with residents, nurses, families, and staff.
