Responsibilities

Provide general patient care and performs routine treatments and procedures as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Assist with personal hygiene to promote patient’s comfort and well-being.
Check and record intake and output; take and record vital signs and other measurements; perform routine tasks such as enema administration and dressing changes.
Assist RN in caring for seriously ill patients or in complicated treatments.
Maintain a safe, clean environment with stocked supplies and functioning equipment.
Maintain patient records accurately and document all care provided and significant information.
Observe patients and report any changes to RN/Team Leader.
Continue to update specialty knowledge through seminars and in-services.
