Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide personal nursing care under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). This on-site role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring vitals, and ensuring comfort and safety within a 302-bed medical center and affiliated clinics.

Candidates must hold a CNA certification and a BLS certification. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including nutrition, hydration and personal care.
• Take vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Support patient comfort, mobility, and safety through daily tasks.
• Complete clerical duties and document patient information as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
