Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred, preferably in hospital/physician office setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in addressing patient care needs.
• Collect patient specimens and data, including vital signs and intake/output.
• Document objective data and routine patient care in medical records.
• Provide unit support and clerical duties to ensure efficient department operations.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility and hygiene.
• Support transport of patients and specimens as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure chart forms are filed.
