Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant course and scheduled to take the Florida State exam.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card required.
• Proficient in computer software applications (e.g., MS Office, EMR).

Responsibilities

• Delivers basic care to patients in a clean, safe environment.
• Communicates effectively with health care team and promotes teamwork.
• Accesses IV solutions and authorized medications for patient care.
• Maintains a clean environment and uses supplies efficiently.
• Collects, records, and reports accurate patient information.
• Performs routine procedures and assists others to maintain productivity.
• Provides compassionate care respecting patient needs and cultural differences.
• Contributes to patient experience with hourly rounding and bedside shift reports.
• Supports positive financial performance of the unit.
