Job summary

Health First seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality patient care in a Florida facility under RN supervision. You will support the care team, assist with basic nursing tasks, document patient information, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires CNA certification with Florida licensure within 120 days, BLS, and strong communication skills for interaction with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant course and scheduled to take Florida state exam.
• Florida CNA licensure within 120 days of start date or active licensure in another state with Florida licensure planned.
• American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification required or maintained.
• English language fluency and ability to follow written/spoken instructions.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers basic care to patients in a clean, safe environment with timely tasks.
• Communicates effectively with health care team, patients and families.
• Assists licensed personnel in direct nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintains equipment and environment; ensures safety and sanitation.
• Records and reports accurate patient information.
