Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA program.

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned following facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals are provided.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled and accessible to residents.
• Other related duties as directed by licensed staff or administrator.
