Job summary

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, WA is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide essential daily living activities and basic nursing care under RN supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction in a busy hospital unit.

You will be responsible for supporting patient comfort, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with tasks per CNA scope of practice. This position requires CPR certification and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active WA certified CNA license.
• Eligible to obtain Medical Assistant: Registered certification (application during hiring).
• Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication and password management.

Responsibilities

• Perform related tasks to promote positive visitor, family, and staff relations.
• Provide high quality patient care with compassion and report changes to RN.
• Perform or assist CNA tasks under RN direction.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environment per policies.
• Take and record vital signs and other measurements accurately.
• Document accurately in the patient medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement programs.
• Adhere to Confluence Health policies and unit standards.
• Maintain active CPR certification.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Nursing Assistant program (accredited)

High School Diploma or GED

WA CNA license (active)
