Job summary

Majestic Care of McCordsville is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA will provide direct hands-on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents under supervision, supporting residents to achieve the highest possible level of functioning and independence.

Key duties include assisting with Activities of Daily Living, responding to call lights, transporting residents, and communicating observations to the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• ADL support for residents
• Vital signs and basic nursing tasks supportive to RN/LPN supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
• Respond to residents' call lights to provide comfort and safety
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair
• Report significant findings to nurse immediately
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes
• Ensure hydration and nutrition and report deviations to Charge Nurse
