Job summary

The role requires the State Tested Nurse Aide certificate and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a facility environment. Lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• State Tested Nurse Aide certificate.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow written instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens in work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care to assigned residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Delivers Restorative Nursing Programs and documents progress.
• Maintains residents' rights and confidentiality of information.
• Follows safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Reports resident changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks to meet needs and preferences.
• Documents services timely and accurately.
• Communicates with residents and families to determine needs.
• Promotes teamwork and interdepartmental relations and a positive environment.
