Job summary

Heritage Woods of Benton in Benton, IL is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver individualized resident care according to each care plan. You will assist with Activities of Daily Living, promote independence, and maintain dignity while reporting health changes to the clinical team.

You will engage with residents and families in a compassionate, impactful manner and participate in ongoing education, staff meetings, and seminars.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned
